Rebecca and Craig are oenophiles and historians, so we met up for a glass of wine before hitting the streets for their rainy Beacon Hill engagement session. I recommend that my clients do something fun or go out for a drink before the engagement session, so it was a no-brainer for them to head to one of their favorite Boston wine bars – Bin 26 Enoteca.

It’s always fun to walk through Beacon Hill; I love the old world feel, and am always noticing something new. To get to know my clients better, I’ll often ask lighthearted questions along the lines of “If your fiancé/e was a _______ what would he/she be?” Of course with Rebecca and Craig, I had to ask what varieties of wine they’d be, and there was no hesitation in their responses. According to Craig, Rebecca would be a zinfandel, and I think Rebecca said Craig would be some kind of pinot – but the answer was lost to my ears by the immediate laughter of how accurately each described the other.
