Before I saw Leslie on her wedding day, I heard her laugh. She was on the back porch of her parent’s home, having her hair and makeup done. Leslie has the kind of laugh that carries across a room, and out open windows.
During the toasts, Leslie’s maid of honor also mentioned Leslie’s laugh, and how she always knew if Leslie was talking to Rich on the phone, because the tone of her laugh would change only for him.
Leslie and Rich have a long history. They attended middle and high school together, and were dates to senior prom. On their wedding day, Leslie wore as a headband the necklace that Rich had given her for prom those many years ago.
The most important thing to Leslie and Rich for their wedding was to host a great party for, and to spend time with, their friends and family. To maximize their time with their guests, these two chose to do a first look and all of their portraits before the ceremony. The large size of their “wedding wolfpack” was a testament to the many strong friendships they have built.
The ceremony and reception were held at the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion, MA. I loved the look of pride in Leslie’s dad’s eyes as he walked her down the aisle, and the personal ceremony crafted by a family friend. The reception, in a beautifully decorated tent on the lawn, flowed organically from the formalities into a big dance party.

What a cute couple and a pretty, happy wedding.
These pictures are wonderful. I love the ones of people dancing because we didn’t a lot of that. What a great party!
