Jess and Chris brought me to one of their favorite places, World’s End in Hingham, for their engagement session. This is where they take their puppy for hikes, and where Chris proposed to Jess. We wandered the different paths, lingered at the bench where they got engaged, admired the colors of the changing foliage, and soaked in the glorious sunshine just before sunset. My goal during engagement sessions is always to create candid and affectionate images that feel true to the couple, as well as a few more classic portraits that will please parents and grandparents. At one point during our time together, the light was so dramatic that I couldn’t resist playing around with something a little different, and asked Jess to channel her inner Beyoncé (which she did exceptionally well between a few giggles).
